Pre-Treatment Instructions:
To help ensure a safe and effective treatment:
* Shave the treatment area 6–10 hours before your appointment. Please do not wax, tweeze, thread, or use depilatory creams for at least 2 weeks before treatment, as the hair follicle must be present for the laser to be effective.
* Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for 2 weeks before treatment, as tanned skin may increase the risk of side effects.
* Apply broad-spectrum SPF 40+ sunscreen daily to any exposed treatment areas.
* Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, lotions, oils, deodorants, perfumes, or other topical products on the treatment area.
* Inform your provider if you have an active skin infection, open wound, cold sore, recent sunburn, or are taking medications that may increase light sensitivity.
Post-Treatment Instructions
* Mild redness, warmth, swelling, or sensitivity is common and typically resolves within a few hours to 24 hours.
* In some cases, temporary blistering or crusting may occur. If this happens, do not pick or scratch the treated area and contact your provider if symptoms persist or worsen.
* Keep the treated area clean and moisturized with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.
* Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

* Do not wax, tweeze, or thread between treatments. Shaving or trimming is permitted if needed.

* Contact your provider if you experience persistent redness lasting more than several days, significant blistering, signs of infection, or any unexpected reaction.
Results:
Individual results vary. A series of 6–8 treatment sessions is typically recommended to achieve optimal long-term hair reduction. Periodic maintenance treatments may be recommended based on individual hair growth patterns, hormonal influences, and treatment response.
